Hi, folks. The lack of posts on my part has been due to a few things, namely the summer holidays and the final few pieces of coursework for my Master’s degree. As I near the end of my 2nd & final year, I am finally able to breathe a little sigh of relief that the end is in sight.
The experience has been excellent though, and the knowledge and feedback gathered during my studies has been valuable. I feel I have gained much confidence since I started the course in 2021, which happened to be a couple of months after I began calling myself a writer.
Beyond studies, I have been continuing work on the book of short stories, The Arborist, and am deep into the second tale of the story of Sybil Ryant, the botanist/mercenary and how she returned to active service following a disastrous mission that gained her intergalactic notoriety. The story is well underway, and I’m easing back into the lore of the story universe as I go.
Other news comes in the form of three anthologies of which my work is due to appear in. I can’t say anymore as yet, but an update for each will go out nearer the time. Three of my works (2 pieces of flash fiction, and one short story) are set to make an appearance among many fantastic tales from a range of brilliant indie authors, so watch this space for further news.
Until then, take care, and thanks for reading.
