Hailing from Dundee, I was first interested in writing stories in primary school, and have always enjoyed creating characters and situations to throw them into. I started with comic books, drawing a sizeable series for my own superhero Bugman, before realising my drawing never improved over the span of 7 years and that I enjoyed the writing aspect of creating those tales more. These days, when I’m not buried in a mound of books, I’m writing stories of my own.
Inspired by the works of Philip K Dick, Margaret Weis, Ray Bradbury, S.D Perry, and Harlan Ellison, I set to work creating a universe where I could explore such subjects as the destruction of free will, Earth’s oncoming pollution apocalypse, and android spouses.
