‘The Intimacy Protocol’ featured on FSF Writers Alliance page

I found out this week that one of my short stories, ‘The Intimacy Protocol‘, had won a contest hosted by The Fantasy & Sci-FI Writers Alliance, the contest being a Tech VS Humankind writing prompt. This is one of my favourite stories so far, featuring a synthetic that is brought into a couple’s home without the other’s permission. It was a lot of fun to write, and was heavily influenced by a handful of Philip K Dick’s short stories.

Alongside my own, there were also featured ‘.EXE‘ by Nick McPherson, and ‘Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow‘ by EA Robins, two stories I would heavily recommend checking out.

I would also recommend keeping up to date with the FSF Writers Alliance, as they showcase plenty of up-and-coming fantasy & sci-fi writers, helping to bolster each others’ reach, and providing platforms and promotion for new writers. A lot of great indie work comes out from the writers in the Alliance, and if you are a fan of either genre, the site would be the place for you.

Until next time, thanks for reading, and take care.
