I have recently come back from holiday and thrown my hat into the ring for Fictionate.Me‘s Worldbuilding Short Fiction Writing Contest. This is a contest surrounding creating a rich world with intrigue, drawing from a mix of genre styles, such as horror, fantasy and science fiction.
My post-apocalyptic story When Once They Radiated features a trio descending into the ruins of a city to search for the source of a distress signal. This instantly puts them into contention with an ancient evil that stalks the old world, putting the mission beyond their clan’s walls in doubt.
